“#Charlottesville” set for November 17 opening

A native of India, actor and playwright Priyanka Shetty moved from Columbus to Charlottesville in 2016 to attend the University of Virginia. A year later, a deadly protest rally occurred in the city on August 11, 2017. Based on more than 100 interviews, Shetty's play “#Charlottesville” dramatizes the community’s response.

Theatre Columbus State will present “#Charlottesville” nightly in Nestor Hall Auditorium November 17-20 at 8 p.m. with a matinee on Thursday, November 18 at 2 p.m. Admission is free. Masks are required.
