Big game, big cause for volleyball game Friday

Campus News | Tuesday, October 16, 2018

When Columbus State’s volleyball team takes on Owens Community College Friday, everyone can be a winner. As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, all proceeds will be donated to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research.

The Athletic Department wants students, staff and faculty to help “pack the house in pink” for the match-up by wearing pink clothing. Both teams are ranked near the top of the National Junior College Athletic Association’s Div. III poll. Our Cougars are No. 2 while Owen’s is No. 3.

The game will he held on Friday, October 19 at 6:00 p.m. in the Delaware Hall Gymnasium. Admission is free but donations will be accepted.
