New Trustees

Governor John Kasich has announced two appointments to the Columbus State Community College Board of Trustees. Each trustee term will run through August 31, 2023.

R. Anthony Joseph is the Chief Administration Officer and General Counsel at White Castle. The Bexley resident has been with the company since 2016. He previously served in several leadership roles with Concessions International, LLC, a food and beverage company with operations in several major cities. Joseph also served two years overseas as a Peace Corps volunteer after obtaining his undergraduate degree. He has a Bachelor of Arts in African Studies/History from Yale University and a JD from the Columbia School of Law.

Corrine Burger, of Dublin, is the Columbus Location Leader for JPMorgan Chase, and the Chief Control Officer for the Chase consumer businesses, which serve 61 million U.S. households. As Location Leader, Burger is responsible for the firm’s 19,000 employees and its 11 corporate offices in the central Ohio region. She joined JPMorgan Chase predecessor Bank One in 1991. Previously, Burger worked at the Phoenix offices of Deloitte & Touche. She is an alumna of the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.

“The leadership experience of Mr. Joseph and Ms. Burger will be a valuable addition to our Board of Trustees,” said Dr. David Harrison, Columbus State President. “I look forward to working with them to help Columbus State meet the higher education needs of our region.”

Columbus State is one of the largest comprehensive colleges in Ohio, currently serving more than 26,000 students and contributing nearly $1 billion annually in regional economic impact. It is the only community college in the nation to earn the three key national distinctions of a Guided Pathways college, an Achieving the Dream Leader College and a Right Signals Initiative college.
