We're here to help!
Our goal is to help students maintain their academic pursuits in order to be
successful in their lives. We offer short-term counseling, consultation, education, and resources to students who are experiencing emotional and psychological problems that are interfering with their ability to maintian in school and balance other responsibilities.
To initiate services students can come to our office in Nestor Hall 010 to schedule an appointment (when campus is open), call 614-287-2818 or via email email@example.com. Students can also be referred by a staff or faculty member through Starfish or be self-referred through Starfish. All referrals will be reviewed by our office specialist who will have initial contact with students. The student will schedule a 45-60 minute consultation with a counselor to discuss their needs and create a plan of action. If the counselor recommends brief individual counseling the student will then schedule an intake appointment with the next available clinician. The intake appointment will be approximately 50-60 minutes and the student will stay with this counselor for the remainder of their treatment. In some cases, the student may be referred to other on campus resources or community providers to coordinate an appropriate level of care.
