Time Reporting, Pay Requests, & Substitute Pay
Non-exempt (hourly) employees, Both full time and part time hourly employees are required to submit their time through the Time App in Workday. Time off for vacation and sick must be reported through Workday’ Absence Application.
Non-exempt (hourly) Police and Teamsters, Non-exempt police and facilities team members will punch in and out using the Workday WebClock App.
Exempt (salaried) employees, must report their time off through Workday’s Absence App.

A Substitute Pay Form should only be used to compensate a faculty member that is covering a single class for another faculty member.
A Leave Form for the faculty member that was absent is required to accompany the Substitute Pay form.

Pay in lieu of vacation: Employees who have completed three (3) years of service may request pay in lieu of vacation. Employees must first take eighty (80) hours of vacation in a calendar year prior to submitting such a request. Employees may receive payment once per calendar year for up to forty (40) hours of their accumulated vacation balance by submitting a written request for such payment to their supervisor. Such payment shall be issued with the next regular payroll following submission of the employee’s request.
