CSEA Faculty Excellence Award
The CSEA Faculty Excellence Award was created to recognize CSEA members who demonstrate
distinction in an area of service, teaching or leadership. Each year, up to two faculty
will be selected to receive a $500.00 cash award, as well as a plaque for the award
winners. A recipient of the award will not be eligible to win the award in two consecutive
years.
Who can nominate
- Any Columbus State CSEA member. Faculty may not nominate themselves.
Criteria
CSEA members are eligible to be nominated for this award for their achievements in
one or more of the following areas:
- Significant participation or leadership in a professional organization, with emphasis
on union-related work
- Commitment to student success
- Community service
- College service
Process
Complete the online nomination form below and click submit. Nominations will be collected
during fall and spring semesters, but all nominations must be in by April 1. A five-member
panel of CSEA Association Representatives will review the nominations and contact
each nominee. The nominee will then be asked to submit a two-page description of their
designated activity. The panel will review the submissions and vote. Presentation
of the award(s) will be in spring semester.
