Catering
When hosting an event through the College, you have several options for catering. For breakfast, lunch, snacks or even dinner, please reach out to one of our approved caterers who will work with you to ensure that your event is a success. Ask your caterer to include your event date, start time and location on your sales quote.
Below is a list of college procedure requirements:
- Expenditures of approved budget funds shall support and advance the College’s mission and shall be made in accordance with College policy and procedures. Expenditures that support and advance the college’s mission may include beverages, meals, refreshments, and other amenities. No funds held by the college shall be used to purchase alcohol unless purchased for resale by a college auxiliary enterprise with a liquor permit, in accordance with Policy 9-01. All alcohol must be purchased, handled, sold and furnished in strict accordance with the applicable liquor permit, college policies and applicable laws.
- Expenditures for food or beverages for college functions must be pre-approved by a cabinet member or his/her designee.
- Provision of food or beverages for employees on a daily or similar on-going basis is not considered to be an appropriate use of college funds.
- College funds may be used to provide food and beverages at college functions such as a seminar, retreat, workshop, orientation or other college functions that advance the mission of the college. College functions may include working breakfasts, lunches, or dinners that have a clear mission-related purpose.
