Lisa Cerrato retirement celebration May 2

A retirement celebration for Lisa Cerrato, Health Professions & Wellness professor, will be held on Thursday, May 2 from 2 to 4 p.m. in CT, room 108. Drop in at your convenience; RSVP is not required. Refreshments will be served.

Cerrato founded the Health Information Management Technology (HIMT) Program in 1991 and has been working to serve our students ever since. Under her leadership, the HIMT program has been an innovative leader in Health Information Management (HIM) education, preparing students for the RHIT certification exam and an ever-changing workforce.

Recently, Cerrato was awarded the Ambassador to Education Award by the OHIO Health Information Management Association for her work on a task force that created virtual professional practice experiences for HIM students across Ohio.
