Brian Seeger passes away

Longtime Columbus State employee Brian Seeger has passed away. In a Facebook post, Barbara Allen, assistant director of Employee Experience, wrote: “You were one of a kind. A beautiful spirit, a deep kindness, and a deep listener and mentor to all.” Seeger worked for the College for more than a quarter of a century, starting as a director in 1988. He retired as an administrator in 2014 and was given Emeritus status by the Board of Trustees. 

Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. A memorial service has been scheduled for Saturday, May 21 at 11 a.m. at the Broad Street Presbyterian Church,760 East Broad St., Columbus.
