Testing & Accessibility announces new intern
Update | Friday, May 27, 2022
The Testing & Accessibility Department has announced that Grace Imhoff – who was most recently an elementary school teacher – will be serving with the department as a new intern.
She introduces herself to the campus community:
“My name is Grace Imhoff (she/her) and I am thrilled to be interning at Columbus State in the Accessibility & Testing Department this summer! As a previous fourth grade teacher and now a graduate student in Higher Education and Student Affairs at the University of Dayton, I have a passion for building relationships with students as well as ensuring equitable and accessible environments.
I sought out an internship at Columbus State because I'm eager to widen my breadth of institutional experience and deepen my understanding of diverse student populations. Through this experience, I also hope to gain specific knowledge on the accommodation process, assistive technology, alternative formats, and interpreting/ captioning services. While the summer is about to begin, I already feel so grateful to be here and to learn alongside College staff and students."
