Award of Excellence for Aviation Maintenance

Last month, the Federal Aviation Administration awarded Columbus State’s Aviation Maintenance Department the Award of Excellence “Gold” award. The recognition was for the department’s participation in the Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Award Program. Associate Professor Jeff Gruber and instructors Robbie Everett and Christopher Deem earned individual Bronze AMT Awards for their work with continuing education in aviation maintenance during 2021.
