Schedule announced for elevator modernization work

The timeline for the upcoming elevator modernization project – which will last for several months – has now been determined. Four of the buildings – Franklin, Aquinas, Rhodes, and Madison halls – have only one elevator each.

If you work in any of those buildings, and you or a staff member require an elevator and will need other accommodations during the project, Michael Hicks, ADA coordinator, and Eric McMillon, project manager in Facilities Planning, Design & Construction, need to know now so they may plan ahead. Tentative schedule when elevators will be out of service

• Franklin Hall: November 21, 2022, through January 16, 2023
• Aquinas Hall: January 23 through March 23, 2023
• Rhodes Hall: January 23 through March 23, 2023
• Madison Hall: April 1 through June 30, 2023

(Nestor and Davidson halls will also be part of the project. However, since they both have more than one elevator, only one will be out of service at a time, allowing continual elevator services for faculty, staff, and students.) 

• Nestor Hall: November 21, 2022, through January 16, 2023
• Davidson Hall: April 1 through June 30, 2023
