While a damp misty morning kept skies gloomy over Central Ohio on Saturday, May 7, dozens of runners and walkers turned out in person for the annual Cougar 5K Challenge on the Delaware Campus. A total of 332 people registered for the event, a record! Due to the pandemic, it was the first in-person 5K since 2019.

Preliminary figures show more than $8,500 has been donated – that’s well above the original goal of $7,500.  Proceeds provide funding for book scholarships for students.
