We want to hear your “major” story

Stories can foster connection and a sense of belonging, and that’s exactly what our students need as they explore careers and search for a career path. So, we'd like you to share with our students how you chose your major and what you are doing now.

It’s easy. Film yourself for one or two minutes by answering the questions below:

• What was your major?
• How did you choose your major? (Tell us your story)
• What are you doing now?

Video tips:

• Record video horizontally.
• Place a light – or light source – in front of you.
• Be aware of distractions in the nearby environment.
• Look at the camera, not the image of yourself recording.
• Don’t be a floating head; head and shoulders shot.
• And smile! Use facial expressions; make it personal.

Send the video and any pictures you would like to include to this Dropbox link.

Please submit videos no later than Friday, September 10.

Submissions will be included in the Major Fest virtual event and will be used to help promote major and career exploration with current students.
