Conclusion of Technology Lending Program

Update | Tuesday, August 17, 2021

The technology lending program put in place at the start of the pandemic is concluding. It was designed to ensure that students had access to the necessary technology to handle the sudden switch to remote learning.

Students who still need technology assistance may apply through the Higher Education Economic Relief Funds (HEERF): Student Emergency Relief Grant. While the application is currently closed, it reopens on Thursday, August 26 at noon. Funds may be used to secure internet access, for the purchase of a personal computer, or a dedicated voucher for a computer bundle (ASUS PC and wireless mouse), available from the Columbus State Bookstore, while supplies last.

Students selecting the voucher will be notified via their Columbus State email. They will be able to pick up a computer bundle from the Columbus State Bookstore. Students should receive this email within three business days of completing the application.

Students must meet HEERF eligibility for the technology grant; there will be a limited lending program for those not eligible. If you have questions, email CStatecares@cscc.edu.
