Staff Employee of the Month

The Staff Employee of the Month is a specialist in Enrollment Services Operations who came to the College in 2015. MJ Olinski received the award at First Wednesday last week. She was nominated by her colleague, Gary Bullock, who is also a specialist in her office. In his nomination form, Bullock said, “MJ has taken the challenge of enormous Federal Financial Aid Verification changes mandated by the U.S. Department of Education and developed new processes…helped seal gaps in our system, and established a new frame of view for verification.” 

Her supervisor, John Riggs, commenting on the sudden federal Financial Aid verification change, said, “(Colleges) had to adjust their detailed verification processes. MJ put in many early and later hours outside of her normal work schedule to complete this change.”
