Point students toward Emergency Relief Grants
Update | Tuesday, July 6, 2021
The application portal for the HEERF: Student Emergency Relief Grant reopened for the Summer Semester 2021 term at noon on July 1 and will close at noon on July 28. This grant is funded through Federal Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF). Grants will be provided in accordance with College policy and guidance from the U.S. Department of Education.
Recent guidance has removed previous eligibility restrictions. Students do not need to have Title IV eligibility. In addition, DACA Students, undocumented students, and international students are now eligible to receive funds if otherwise eligible. This guidance does prioritize financial need as a criterion governing funds disbursement.
Grants will be provided for eligible students while funds remain available. Completing an application does not guarantee you will receive a grant. All applications will be reviewed, but not all requests may be filled or may be partially filled. Students may apply once each term. (The Autumn 2021 application will open on August 26 at noon.)
To apply for a grant, please have students complete the application at this link.
Students may contact emergencyfund@cscc.edu with questions.
