Sister City with Columbus State ties featured at Franklin Park Conservatory

Update | Thursday, July 1, 2021

Sister City with Columbus State ties featured at Franklin Park Conservatory A new exhibit at Franklin Park Conservatory highlights all ten Sister Cities of Columbus. That includes Dresden, Germany, where Columbus State has an MOU with partner school Berufsschulzentrum für Elektrotechnik Dresden – also known as BSZET. Columbus State students spent time there in 2019, and future exchanges are planned. The exchanges are funded in part by monies from businesses in both Central Ohio and Dresden and each city government.

The new exhibit, Sister Cities: Horticultural Sites, Events, and Developments, takes visitors on a horticultural tour of the world by making stops at our various sister cities. They will learn about their botanical sites, advancements in horticulture, and floriculture events. The exhibit runs through October 31. The Conservatory is located at 1777 East Broad St., Columbus. There is no admission charge, but tickets must be reserved. Click here for more information and a ticket reservation link. If you have questions, email info@fpconservatory.org, or call 614-715-8000.
