Faculty professional development workshops for Autumn Semester

The Faculty Professional Development Initiative (FPDi) has scheduled virtual workshops for the semester. In addition to the Active and Collaborative Learning (ACL) workshops, FPDi also offers:

• FPDi Diversity Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 workshops
• FPDi Critical Thinking Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 workshops
• FPDi Getting Started with Alternative Assessment
• FPDi Leveraging Teaching with Technology
                 *Meeting the Challenges of Student Testing
                 *Effective Student Interaction Via Discussion Boards
                 *Better Live Online Sessions

Notes: Adjuncts and ACFs will be compensated for attending the workshops listed (up to 9 hours per academic year at the meeting pay rate). If you are a College Credit Plus instructor, send your training request to teaching@cscc.edu, and Digital Education & Instructional Services (DEIS) will sign you up.
