Update | Tuesday, September 7, 2021
The September FIX (Faculty Idea Exchange) lecture is set for next week. It is part of the Office of Academic Affairs Instructional Success Committee’s Virtual Lecture Series. “Returning to In-Person Teaching, Learning & Student Supports during a Pandemic: A Discussion for Faculty about Classroom Management and Student Success” will be presented Tuesday, September 14 from 3-4 p.m. Kelly Hogan, executive director of College Completion and Terrence Brooks, senior director of Student Life, are the presenters.
Description: Returning to a growing on-campus presence this fall creates different levels of enthusiasm and anxiety for each of us. As we maintain our college commitment to safety, we must also consider ongoing efforts to ensure academic excellence and quality. To prepare for a discussion about the back-to-campus experience, faculty are invited to complete a survey regarding their fall start and join a conversation centered in lived experiences, ongoing challenges, and successful strategies.
