December eLearning: Decision Making and Problem Solving

Update | Monday, December 7, 2020

For this month’s eLearning, Professional Development and Retention has focused on Decision Making and Problem Solving. Those are important skills for business and life. Part of problem-solving is creating alternative solutions, and it often involves decision making. To find the courses, log into cscc.edu/employees and click on the link to Cornerstone to register for the following:

  • Problem Solving: The Fundamentals (60 minutes)
  • Problem Solving: Process, Tools, and Techniques (15 minutes)
  • Choosing and Using the Best Solution (25 minutes)

There are Job Aids attached to the course for easy application to your day to day activities. They can be found under the “Resources” tab. The courses can be browsed in small, bite-sized sections and easy to consume!

"Never bring the problem-solving stage into the decision-making stage.  Otherwise, you surrender yourself to the problem rather than the solution." -Robert H. Schuller
