Travel requests at the College
Update | Monday, March 23, 2020
Columbus State is following the directive from Gov. Mike DeWine by banning non-essential travel through April 30. All new travel requests during this time will require approval from a vice president. This includes in-state, out-of-state, and international travel.
Travelers who have already been approved for travel between now and April 30 must obtain approval from a vice president to override the travel ban. If your VP does not approve an override, please cancel any hotel and flight reservations and conference registration.
If you used a personal credit card and the airline or conference refuses to issue a refund or credit, please complete a Travel Expense form to request a reimbursement. If you receive a credit or refund for an airline ticket or conference fees prepaid by the College, the credit or refund must be utilized for future college travel and cannot be used for personal travel.
If the Travel Office coordinated your flight or hotel reservation or conference registration, that office is available to assist you with the cancellation and refund process. Please contact the Travel Office at travel@cscc.edu for assistance
If you have questions, contact Darrin Albaugh or Tracy Thornton.
