The Mix hosts local third and fourth graders

Community outreach stretched into the public schools for The Mix in Mitchell Hall on February 27. Two dozen third and fourth graders from Siebert Elementary School in Columbus were on hand for a healthy cooking class.

Above, Chef Kathy Levi showed how to make fruit salsa, salsa, and tortilla chips.  Later, the students were treated to a potato bar lunch including potatoes, sweet potatoes,  tex mex, cheese, sour cream, broccoli, and cheese.
