IT training sessions for Microsoft Teams breakout rooms

The Information Technology (IT) Division is offering training for employees who want to learn more about the new breakout rooms feature in Microsoft Teams. These sessions will be held virtually in a Teams meeting. Registration takes place in Cornerstone. 

The meeting link and directions for how to join will be sent out to registered attendees via email 24 hours before the start time.

It’s time to take your meetings to the next level! Join Information Technology (IT) for an interactive training about the basic features and options for breakout rooms in Teams. Learn how to set up the rooms, assign participants, and see what being part of a breakout room is like. Join us to check it out and connect with your colleagues in this fun and interactive session.

Tuesday, January 12 from 10-11 a.m.

Wednesday, January 13 from 11 a.m.-noon

To register, log in to Cornerstone and hover over the “Learning” tab in the top menu. In the drop-down menu, choose “Events Calendar.” Click on the event title listed on the calendar. Select Request to register.
