IT disabling Skype for Business; Transition to Teams

Update | Monday, April 27, 2020

Changes begin this week as the Information Technology (IT) division will be disabling access to Skype for Business starting on Thursday, April 30. Current Skype users should transition to Microsoft Teams. Teams is the chat-based workspace in Office 365 that makes it easy to have conversations, host meetings, share files, and get work done with people across the organization. It is a great way to stay connected while working remotely.

To see what Teams can do for you, watch this short video overview. To learn how to access it and get started, check out the articles in the IT Knowledge Base. Online training is available to help you make a smooth transition to Teams. Access the training calendar and register for upcoming sessions in Cornerstone. Personalized department or group training is available upon request.
