Conference Center technician is Staff Employee of the Month

Benjamin Kalb was named the newest Staff Employee of the Month during last week’s First Wednesday event. Kalb is a technician at the Conference Center in WD and started at the College in August of 2019. He was nominated by Dave Cofer, project manager for Employer Engagement & Experiential Learning (EEEL). 

Cofer says, “Kalb has been consistently contributing to the success of the EEEL team for nearly nine months all while doing so as a collaborative partner working in other offices.” Cofer cited other important projects Kalb assisted with, including an apprenticeship program with Nationwide and helping EEEL convert in-person programs online due to the pandemic. 

Patricia Huston, Kalb’s supervisor, says, “Since the day he started with our team, Ben has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to serving our community to the best of his abilities, both on and off the clock.”
