Staff Employee of the Month: Charles Krouse

Charles Krouse was named the Staff Employee of the Month during First Wednesday last week. Krouse is a maintenance technician who began working at the College in 2007.

He was nominated by Steve Becherer, a teaching assistant in Physical & Biological Sciences. Becherer says, “Charlie has continually improved operations and maintained the visual appearance of TL, Nestor Hall, and other buildings on campus. I see him at the end of the day making his rounds to ensure all is operational for evening classes.”

Krouse’s supervisor, Bill Griffith, says that Krouse, like many on his team, wears multiple hats and is a jack of all trades. “Charlie volunteers to be on call, taking emergency calls during off-hours and weekends, and always says ‘yes’ to helping out,” says Griffith.
