Required health care coins modified by HR

The Human Resources Department would like to thank you for taking your health and well-being seriously. We understand that some of you may have concerns regarding how to earn your required coins due to the coronavirus pandemic. We further understand many health care providers are following guidance from public health officials to cancel routine visits.

Human Resources has listened to your concerns and decided to modify the requirement to four (4) coins. This modification will be for this year only, ending on June 30, 2020. As a reminder, each person on the medical plan – employee, spouse, or partner – must each earn the 4 coins to maintain an 80/20 contribution for the following year.

And there’s good news! You can earn some of the coins remotely! There are two items you can do remotely right now. However, to earn them in time, you will need to start the process as soon as possible.

1) You can earn 2 coins by completing the health survey.
2)  You can earn 2 coins by completing 3 missions for 5 weeks.

To earn the coins remotely, follow these easy steps:

1) Access your Rally account by going to www.myuhc.com;

2) Click on the Rally tab;

3) You may verify how many coins you have and complete the above tasks if needed;

4) If you already have 4 coins, you are good to go! No further action is required.

The required coins will revert to 8 coins for the period beginning July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021. If you have additional questions, contact Nichole Bowman-Glover, Wellness Program coordinator.
