New research grant for Columbus State and Ohio State

The National Institutes of Health has awarded Columbus State Community College and Ohio State University a research grant for the Reducing Cardiovascular Risk Factors in Black Young Adults project.

Nearly $90,000 in grant funding will drive this critical work forward over the next four years. Led by Professor Antoinette Perkins, Columbus State will support the research initiative through recruiting participants and conducting physical activity intervention. The College will also assist with training the research team on the physical intervention activities available to the study participants.
