Mail delivery and pickup during pandemic

Update | Friday, April 17, 2020

There are temporary options in place on the Columbus Campus for mail and package delivery and drop off. The changes also include a temporary delivery address.

During the coronavirus/COVID-19 stay-at-home restrictions, the correct delivery address for parcels from UPS, FedEx, and freight is:

Columbus State Community College
283 Cleveland Ave.
Columbus, OH 43215.

That is the address for the Bookstore, which has a receiving dock in the back of the building. John Bowler, supervisor in Mail Shipping and Receiving, says that most drivers figure that out if the item is addressed to another Columbus State building.

Pickup
If you receive an item, you will be notified by email. Mail and packages are given out Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.  When you arrive at the outdoor loading dock area, please walk up the ramp and to the right of two overhead doors where trucks back into the dock. A bell is located by a personnel door handle.

Inside, there is a drop-off and pickup table. The associate on duty will offer you the choice of coming in for the mail or packages, or you may go down the ramp and wait while the items are placed outside the door for you to take them from there.

Drop off
You may also drop off outgoing mail and packages using the same options above.

If you have questions, email John Bowler, or call him at one of these extensions: 2783, 2568, or 2567.

After employees return to campus, the principal mailing address will remain:
