More than 200 people turned out for the 30th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on February 26 in the Mitchell Hall Event Center. The theme was "Sankofa: Vision in Action," and featured a keynote address by Columbus native Kimberly Brazwell, a trauma-informed social justice consultant with more than 15 years in community building and advocacy. Brazwell was previously a special assistant to the president at Columbus State. The event also featured musical performances and spoken word presentations.
