Feb. 28 conversation on GROWing Our Student Employees

Professional Development & Retention (PDR) holds twice-yearly conversations with each of the College’s divisions. This month, PDR will feature Enrollment Management and Student Services. They will highlight GROWing Our Student Employees.

You will learn about a new initiative designed to help student employees connect their classroom learning and campus workplace learning to their career aspirations. Educating our students is a shared responsibility here at Columbus State. Students learn in the classroom through co-curricular experiences and real-world skills in the workplace.

CSTATE GROW conversations ask students to reflect on the learning and skills they are gaining in the classroom and their jobs here at the College. This initiative helps students to articulate their skills to become more committed and invested in their work on campus and their future career goals.

The conversation will be held on Friday, February 28 from 9-10:30 a.m. in WD 420.

To register, log in to Cornerstone and hover over the “Learning” tab in the upper left. That will bring up a pull-down menu. Select “Events Calendar.” Click on the event, then select “Request” to register. (Please see this guide for search and registration tips.)
