DreamZone Workshop available this month

Update | Tuesday, November 3, 2020

The office of Global Diversity & Inclusion (GDI) will be providing a DreamZone Workshop on Wednesday, November 18 from noon-1:30 p.m.

Columbus State has one of the largest populations of students with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) status – or “Dreamers” – in Ohio. This workshop will help participants better understand what DACA status is, the challenges and unique experiences faced by this population, and ways we can best support these students.

Dream Zone is part of the Diversity Training Certificate series. Employees and students are encouraged to sign up for this workshop on Cornerstone or Cougar Connect. Everyone who registers in advance will receive a link to join the workshop on Microsoft Teams. Contact Brett Welsh, GDI Center director, at bwelsh7@cscc.edu with questions.
