Alumni VIP reception a success

A reception for Columbus State alumni held on January 9 was a big success. An estimated 300 people attended the event in Mitchell Hall. The Columbus State Foundation sponsored the reception. Speakers included President Harrison, Jesse Jones, and Sarah Baker. A panel of alumni included David White (’91), chief information officer at Battelle; Abdi Jama (’15), specialist in SEaL; and Shelia Stewart (’17), pastry chef at Barcelona restaurant in Columbus.

Assistance was provided by the Columbus State Bookstore, Conference Center, SEaL, and Marketing & Communications. The Foundation is asking all alumni to fill out a three-question survey to assist with future events. The survey link is here.
