Socks for Seniors in need of donations

The Student Nurses' Association and the Student Practical Nurses' Association are in the midst of their annual collection known as Socks for Seniors. Each year, the groups deliver socks and other items to several area nursing homes. This year they are making deliveries to Worthington Christian Village, Wexner Heritage Village, Forum at Knightsbridge, Columbus Alzheimer Care Center, and Mother Angeline McCrory Manor.

It’s easy to donate: drop off new pairs of skid-proof socks in the collection box in the Nursing Office on the fifth floor of Union Hall. The deadline is 3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4. (Other donated items can include holiday greeting cards and ribbon to tie cards to the socks.) Help our nearby seniors by warming their hearts and their feet.
