Nursing chair and faculty published in Journal

Two faculty members and the chair of Nursing published an article in the November issue of the Journal of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. The article, by faculty members Alison Romanowski and Patty Allen, along with April Martin, chairperson, is titled Educational Revolution: Integrating Concept-Based Curriculum and Active Learning for Mental Health Nursing Students. It describes how faculty, following the implementation of a new curricular plan of study based on conceptual learning, embarked on incorporating more active teaching-learning strategies. Those strategies resulted in positive outcomes for students. Read the article here.
