The Center of Science and Industry (COSI) in Columbus has accepted a digital illustration from Sherlann Lewandowski, Columbus State’s periodicals specialist. The gallery is themed to pair with their new exhibit “Unseen Oceans” by the American Museum of Natural History.

The gallery opens this Saturday, October 19, and runs through February 2, 2020. The deep-sea creatures (left) illustrate a tiny sea angel slug and a sea butterfly snail. The border represents single-celled algae.

Lewandowski’s work was previously accepted by COSI for the exhibit “Dragons, Unicorns & Mermaids: Mythic Creatures” earlier this year. She is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art & Design. To see more of her artwork, you may follow her on Instagram at @sherlannl.
