“Improv” for Interviews next week for students
Update | Monday, November 4, 2019
Interviews can often be quite intimidating. You may feel judged, anxious about questions
that will be asked, and not confident in your ability to make a good impression. This
workshop will help students with “improv” skills, which can assist in overcoming interview
anxieties!
The “Improv” for Interviews workshop will be led by Barbara Allen, manager in Professional Development and Retention (PDR). It will include fun, interactive activities that will leave students laughing while providing them with a fresh, professional perspective. Students will learn how to think quickly on their feet, recover from making a misstep, and see the interview process in an entirely new light!
The workshop is sponsored by PDR and Career Services. It will be held on Thursday, November 14 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the Library Media Studio, Columbus Hall 111. Please refer students who might be interested to register at this link: https://connect.cscc.edu/event/4991774.
