Manufacturing partnership
The Ohio Development Services Agency awarded the College a grant Wednesday to launch
the Manufacturing Extension Partnership at Columbus State Community College (MEP@CSCC)
project. This $1.3 million initiative will integrate Columbus State into the Ohio
MEP network, strengthening the regional and statewide manufacturing industry. Project
areas of focus include leadership development, advanced manufacturing, supply-chain
optimization and sustainability, cybersecurity solutions, and internships and apprenticeships.
Financial Literacy Summit
Columbus State hosted more than 150 high school juniors and seniors downtown for
a Financial Literacy Summit on October 29 in the WD. Students learned about financial
literacy concepts through the lens of career pathway exploration. The summit featured
guest speakers from organizations including OhioMeansJobs and Huntington Bank. The
College funded this educational event with a grant from the Ohio Department of Commerce.
