Faculty development workshops

Update | Thursday, October 31, 2019

The Faculty Professional Development Initiative (FPDI) team invites you to collaborate and explore Active and Collaborative Learning (ACL) with new Level 1 workshops. In addition, within the context of ACL, they will focus on four other key areas known as Four Tracks. It encompasses teaching and learning to integrate business and industry-identified needs into course outcomes.

Areas include diversity, equity, and inclusion, critical thinking, building writing and reading skills in all disciplines, and leveraging teaching with technology.

The first FPDI workshop began earlier this month in the CT building. Each workshop is taught by a faculty fellow from the FPDI team and will last about 90 minutes. Multiple sessions will be offered through autumn semester to reach as many full-time and adjunct faculty members as possible.

**Registration is in Cornerstone.  Search for “FPDI” in the Learning Tab. For questions, contact FPDI@cscc.edu. More details such as dates, times, and description for the FPDi ACL and Four Track workshops can be found here.
