Get Engaged
The Office of Student Engagement and Belonging offers various opportunities for students to get involved, develop leadership skills, and connect with others. Each opportunity supports students in building meaningful connections, developing skills, and contributing to the campus community.
Day of Service
No classes? Give back to the community! On Tuesday, October 7, daytime classes are cancelled, allowing all students, staff, and faculty to participate in the Day of Service. As the name suggests, Day of Service is an opportunity for our campus community to engage in service with and to the Central Ohio community. Interested in learning more? Click Here to visit the Day or Service Cougar Connect site. Scroll to the bottom of the page to view opportunities available for sign-up. Student Clubs
Student clubs are a great opportunity for Columbus State students to develop a sense of community, build leadership skills, and get engaged on our campus! Fortunately, Columbus State offers a variety of organizations that you can join. Student clubs are completely student-led and formed based on the wants and needs of the current student body including academic, special interests, and cultural identities.
Notice: Temporary Freeze on Creation of New Student Clubs and Organizations
To ensure the continued success and support of our existing student organizations, the College has implemented a temporary freeze on the creation of new student clubs and organizations. This decision will remain in effect until further notice.
We recognize the importance of student involvement and leadership on campus and remain committed to providing resources and support for the organizations currently active within our community. We will continue to evaluate how best to serve the needs of our students and may revisit this decision in the future.
