wiseThe manufacturing industry is essential to everyday life, producing nearly all the products and equipment we use. It stands as the fourth largest employer in the United States, with women being almost one-third of its workforce. WISE Pathways is tailored for women of all backgrounds and age groups, whether you're entering the job market for the first time, returning to work after a break, considering a career shift, or simply exploring new opportunities.

Program Overview

This program provides an insider's look into the advanced manufacturing sector, offering hands-on experiences, mentorship from established women in the field, and essential preparation for resumes and interviews. Join us to gain valuable insights, practical skills, and the confidence to thrive in a high-demand industry.

Who Should Apply?

  • Exploring Career Pathways: Gain insights into various career opportunities in advanced manufacturing, understanding the demand and growth potential within the industry.
  • Hands-On Experience: Engage in practical, hands-on activities with robotics, bunny suits and more guided by industry professionals, to develop technical skills.
  • Professional Development: Learn how to create effective resumes, prepare for interviews, and set up LinkedIn profiles to enhance your job search.
  • Field Trips and Networking: Participate in field trips to manufacturing facilities and attend networking events, including luncheons with industry professionals and cleanroom experience bootcamps.
  • Women in Manufacturing: Hear from female employees and guest speakers about their experiences, challenges, and success stories in the workforce, emphasizing the value of women in manufacturing roles.
