Languages & Communication, Language Institute relocating to Preferred Pathway partner space at Franklin University

Update | Monday, February 10, 2025

We’re building a stronger campus, improving learning spaces and making way for major renovations and construction. In support of this effort, several courses and offices are relocating to Phillips Hall on the Franklin University campus starting Summer Semester 2025. Effected classes are already marked with the new location in the course schedule.

Map to Phillips HallMost classes and offices for the Language Institute and the Languages & Communication academic department, including the Language Institute, will be relocated to Phillips Hall. The Non-Credit Registration Office is also moving to this location. Currently enrolled students in these programs should expect additional, customized communication about the move at their Columbus State email.

Franklin University will provide access to parking for students. The college also plans to offer some introductory gateway courses and common math courses for our students learning at Phillips Hall. The location offers good proximity to diverse food options.
