Sgt. Scott recognized with STAR Award

Columbus State Police Department Sgt. Shannon Scott has received the Franklin County Sheriff's STAR award.It was presented on Oct. 27 at the Franklin County Sheriff's Law Enforcement Recognition Dinner. The STAR award is presented to an officer from Franklin County law enforcement agencies who distinguish themselves and embody the values of Selflessness, Teamwork, Accountability, and Respect. Scott, who was the 2023 Columbus State Police Department Employee of the Year, was the department’s nominee for this year's STAR award.
