Get ready: Blackboard Base Navigation is coming this summer

Note: new sections have been added.

In order to prepare for Blackboard Base Navigation, Digital Education and Instructional Services (DEIS) plans a training session that will be offered several times this semester.

• This enhancement will not impact how courses function; faculty do not need to make any changes or take any action.   
• The upgrade is to optimize the Blackboard experience for users who access the platform from a mobile device.

Base Navigation Workshops for faculty are available during the dates and times below. Sign up for “FPDI: Blackboard Navigation is coming May 15, 2023” 

Friday, March 24 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. 
New: Friday, April 7 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
New: Tuesday, April 18 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Registration will take place in Cornerstone. (To sign up, select Learning > Events calendar in the top menu. Find the training you want to attend and click Request to register. Be on the lookout for ongoing communication from DEIS about Base Navigation. NOTE: If you are unable to login or register for the workshop in Cornerstone, please contact the DEIS at fpdi@cscc.edu for assistance.
