The Distinguished Full Professor Award recognizes faculty who perform their duties in an exemplary manner through service, scholarship, innovation, leadership, and other professorial achievements. To be eligible, the faculty member must have been promoted to Full Professor in Autumn 2016 or earlier. The Distinguished Full Professor award is intended to recognize those professors whom faculty should emulate and to reward outstanding leadership. 

Nominations from both Columbus State colleagues and the faculty member’s larger professional community will be accepted. Nominees will be screened by a selection committee of their peers based on a narrative summary they submit of their work and confidential letters of support solicited by the candidate. 

To nominate a candidate for the 2020 Distinguished Full Professor Award, please send the full name and department of the professor you wish to nominate to Morgan Sayre in the Office of Professional Development & Retention at dfp@cscc.edu. The deadline for nominations is Friday, April 2.
