Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration January 21

Columbus State will celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at its 30th annual Celebration this month. The event will feature historical anecdotes about the life of King, musical performances, and a keynote address. This year’s speaker will be announced soon.

Columbus State, in partnership with Ohio State University, has brought in high-visibility speakers for the annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration. Past speakers have included Angela Davis, Donna Brazile, the Rev. Al Sharpton, and Dick Gregory.

This year’s event will take place on Tuesday, January 21 at 10 a.m. in Mitchell Hall. Tickets are free with registration. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. You may register here.
