The CSCC Service-Learning OAA College and Division Committees will host the fourth
annual service-learning conference on Friday, April 13th from 9a.m. to 1:30p.m. in
the Workforce Development Conference Center. The theme of this year's conference is
Service-Learning Presents: UNITED- Supporting Students in Challenging Times.
The purpose of the event is to share information and offer training about campus
resources, and to empower participants to support students on campus and beyond. Sessions/trainings
will include DreamZone (supporting our DACA students), Behavioral Intervention Team,
Responding to Campus Visitors, QPR Suicide-Prevention Training, CSCC Resources to
Support Students, and more!

The CSCC Service-Learning OAA College and Division Committees held the third annual
service-learning conference on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 9a.m. to 2p.m. in the Workforce
Development Conference Center. The theme of this year's conference, "Serving Diverse
Communities," reflected the timely need for faculty and staff to consider how to best
embrace diversity in the classroom, and identify social justice efforts on and off
campus. Nearly 100 faculty, staff, students, and community partners attended.
