Pre-Orientation Checklist

In order to prepare for your orientation session, you must complete the following tasks:

[ ] Take your placement tests or submit sufficient ACT/SAT scores/ transfer credit.

Review the Placement FAQs if you have questions regarding your scores or how to take the Accuplacer/ALEKS test. Placement tests must be completed before you can register for orientation. Tests are available on a walk- in basis and you must have a photo ID. Call (614) 287-2478 with additional questions.


[ ] Send in ACT scores, fi­nal high school, and/or final college transcripts to:

[ ] File the FAFSA.

If applying for financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov as soon as you can. Contact Financial Aid if you have specific questions or attend a FASFA Workshop

[ ] Create your username and password.

Students must complete the placement process prior to receiving their log-in credentials. Go to password.cscc.edu, select Discover My Username, and enter the required information. Then, return to password.cscc.edu, select change my password, and following the instructions.

[ ] Register for an orientation session.

You must REGISTER for an orientation session; Students who have completed the placement process will receive notification via email with a unique link to register for orientation starting in May 2018. If students need the link re-sent, please use the contact information below:

REGISTER! Students who attend orientation EARLY typically have more accessibility and options when registering for courses.
