Simplify:
Our new RSS feed service will eliminate the need to repeatedly check back to our site. Instead, once you subscribe to our service, you will be notified of new developments and will be able to download updated materials (often in PDF format) directly from the notification. Various Science Day materials (such as space assignments) will be distributed in this fashion. Throughout the year the service will provide information of interest to young scientist.
How does it work?
RSS stands for "Real Simple Syndication" and provides a way to distribute information and downloadable files to groups through a program called an RSS reader (or through certain web browsers). When you subscribe to an RSS feed, you tell your RSS reader (or web browser) where to look on the internet for our "feed". Then, when we post an update, it is displayed automatically in your RSS reader or web browser.
Subscribing:
RSS feed readers are available for free and most will guide you through the process of subscribing. Some web browsers (including Internet Explorer 7 and Opera) also have built in feed readers.
To subscribe to our news feed, click on the following icon, and then copy the url address to your RSS reader (your browser may automatically do this and then ask you if you wish to subscribe):
![]()
If you use one of the following feed readers (or wish to start using one of them), just click on the button to subscribe.
